THE Queensland government and Australia Pacific LNG have announced a preferred site for a proposed $35 billion Liquefied
Natural Gas (LNG) plant that would create more than 10,000 jobs.
The project is planned for a 230-hectare site at Laird Point on Curtis Island at Gladstone.
